Why superpower countries prefer amphibious assault ship?
An amphibious assault ship (also called an amphibious assault carrier) is a type of warfare ship deployed to support land and ground forces on enemy territory by an assault. The design evolved from aircraft carriers and converted for use as carriers.
Russian amphibious assault ships are under construction by name Project 11711 featuring greater displacement and the ability to carry Ka-52K combat helicopters. Russia also making new universal landing ship (UDK) under project 23900.China is building new amphibious assault ship, which is called Type 075 landing helicopter dock (LHD) it is capable of carrying up to 30 helicopters. America-class amphibious assault ship is USS Tripoli it can carry around 10 F-35Bs, and in addition 20-22 different type (attacking, search & rescue) helicopters.
Amphibious assault Ships used in Today’s Expeditionary Warfare, purpose to transport, deploy, and support land force. An Expeditionary Warfare force can be scaled in size from as little as a few hundred troops to more than 50,000.
Why amphibious assault ship important in warfare?
They raid swiftly in enemy position to destroy a particular objective (such as a port, structure, road or airfield) or to occupy the objective temporarily, protect naval aviation from assault, give support to own naval fleet by fire. An amphibious demonstration is a show of force conducted to deceive an opponent into an unfavorable situation. During the Gulf War (1990–1991,) the US Marines mustered a large amphibious force off Kuwait as a decoy to lure Iraqi forces away from the main operation. The ship used when withdrawal of forces by sea from hostile or potentially hostile shores.
“On Tuesday, June 6, 1944, Allied forces landed on the beaches in Nazi-occupied Normandy, France in one of World War II's most ambitious operations, nearly 76 years ago. D-day was the largest amphibious invasion in history, with more than 4,000 ships, 11,000 warplanes and 156,000 Allied troops”
Eventually, in the era of supersonic missile importance of amphibious assault ships demand growing swiftly, that is why the superpowers still prefer the ship.

Do you think china BeiDou may global competitor of US GPS?
To shape china’s own dream today in morning they successfully launched last satellite from Xichang Satellite Launch Center, which located Southeast of Sichuan province. I am saying about BeiDou Navigation Satellite System or BDS consists of 35 satellites. This System has been designed to augment high-accuracy in navigation, positioning and timing as well as communication services.
keeping the dream in mind China started its journey in 1990 and the first version of BeiDou come in service by 2000, providing coverage for satellite-based services for local people. The second recurrence was completed by 2012 and providing services to the Asia-pacific region. As China’s long-term plans to dominate on GPS they start for Third, The third version-completing today BeiDou (BDS-3) has turned into global coverage. In The third version, BeiDou-3 will provide an alternative global navigation satellite system to the United States-owned Global Positioning System (GPS), the Russian GLONASS, or European Galileo systems. It is claimed that BeiDou (BDS-3) will provide users in China and surrounding areas with decimeter-level dynamic positioning and centimeter-level static positioning. The BDS-3 will provide special services to users like civil aviation, maritime, railway, agriculture, surveying, automatic driving, weather forecasts, fishing, forestry etc This service will provide China $57 billion by 2020 as it has great potential in home and globally.
China wants to be independent in all technology especially military, because of GPS they were dependent to US and China had fear if any difficulties occur and US may cut off the facilities. Now China Peoples Libaration Army (PLA) is under BDS system. So DefensePolicy.Org writes .
“Aside from the commercial applications of BeiDou, the placement of an independent global navigation system would give China a considerable strategic military advantage in the event hostilities should break out in the Asia-Pacific Region. Most notably, such an advantage would be useful in countering foreign naval forces and with particularity those of the United States.”
